Job summary

Blattner Company in Avon, Minnesota, seeks an experienced Solar/BESS Installation/Mechanical Superintendent to lead self-perform installation crews on utility-scale projects across the United States. This role focuses on safety, cost and schedule control, and field issue resolution.

You will coach forepersons and ensure quality programs are followed, with travel rotations and a competitive compensation package including bonus, per diem, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience supervising self-perform construction crews.
• Ability to independently resolve and escalate issues when needed.
• Progressive view on safety practices and program implementation.
• Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical, and Drug Test.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations).

Responsibilities

• Managing teams of self-perform Solar and BESS installation crews.
• Tracking and controlling costs and schedule of the project at the field level.
• Responsible for overall safety of personnel within the scope of work.
• Troubleshooting and resolving field issues in a timely manner.
• Providing regular coaching and feedback to Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons.
