Job summary

Blattner Energy in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Field Superintendent to lead on-site operations for gas power generation projects, supervising Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons while ensuring safety, quality, and cost control.

You will coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors, mentor frontline staff, uphold Blattner Energy’s quality systems, and relocate to project sites as needed to keep schedules and deliverables on track.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or a 2-year technical degree with 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Or a minimum of 6 years of additional construction supervisory experience.
• Five years’ experience supervising a construction crew in grading, structural, electrical, and/or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision to ensure a safe, productive, and quality job with cost control.
• Schedule labor, materials, tools, equipment and subcontractors to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Ensure safety regulations and best practices are followed on site and communicate concerns to Site Manager.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and other leaders to plan staffing and resource allocation.
• Mentor and develop frontline staff through onboarding, training, and feedback.
• Relocate to the project site for the duration of each construction project.
• Support community engagement and owner communications for major decisions.
