Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale HV substations and battery energy storage systems. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• 1–2 years of experience developing commissioning plans and technical training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Perform high voltage switching operations as required.
