Job summary

Lucid Motors in Newark, California, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the High Voltage Design team. You will lead the development of next-generation high voltage power electronics that impact vehicle charging performance, efficiency, cost, reliability, and the customer experience across future Lucid platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• Strong CAD skills with CATIA or similar software.
• Knowledge of GD&T, creepage & clearance, HV safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of mechanical architecture for power electronics systems.
• Lead packaging, integration, and validation of HV power electronics.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Collaborate with electrical, quality, manufacturing teams.
