Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals and thermal behavior.
  • Hands-on hardware test experience with bench instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with DVP&R creation and requirements-based test cases.
  • Knowledge of automotive environmental reliability requirements (GMW, ISO, IEC).
  • Working knowledge of high voltage safety practices and lab safety procedures.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute component- and system-level verification and validation testing for power electronics.
  • Develop and maintain DVP&R; draft test cases, track status, log results, and report pass/fail.
  • Review electrical schematics and create test cell layouts for instrumentation.
  • Build, wire, and commission test benches with instrumentation and data acquisition.
  • Define system-level test setups including load profiles and HV/LV interfaces.
  • Perform hand-on testing and troubleshooting using lab equipment.
  • Support root-cause investigations and summarize findings with data.
  • Process and analyze test data; generate plots and summary metrics.
  • Maintain lab equipment, calibration records, and safe HV practices.
  • Collaborate with design, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams.
