Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. is looking for a skilled NETA Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to various sites to conduct inspections, tests, and troubleshoot electrical systems of various voltages.

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, an Associate’s degree in Electrical Power & Controls or a similar field, and must hold NETA Certification or an Electrician license.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience in switchgear testing.
• Must have good PC skills, including data entry and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to drive daily locally/regionally and for overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect and test electrical systems.
• Conduct transformer tests and troubleshooting.
• Perform relay calibration and emergency response.
