Job summary

Rising Edge Group in the United States is seeking a Lead Estimator to oversee regional estimating teams and develop complete cost estimates for electrical transmission, substations and energy storage projects. You will drive value engineering, collaborate with project teams, and ensure proposals include accurate schedules and execution plans.

The role requires a strong background in high‑voltage, renewables or utility sectors, plus the ability to read blueprints and use Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 5+ years in Electrical High Voltage, Utility or Renewables.
• Experience with substations or battery energy storage projects required.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and proposals for estimates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project or Primavera and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, lead and mentor regional estimators with technical reviews.
• Prepare complete cost estimates for electrical transmission, generation, distribution, substations and storage.
• Lead the Pre-Construction team in deliverables, schedules and cash flow exhibits.
• Collaborate with Estimating Manager to improve procedures and reporting.
• Assess risks, constraints and cost-saving opportunities for proposals.
• Participate in bid negotiations and support award processes.
