Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex estimating and preconstruction for large electrical projects including data centers and healthcare facilities. You will oversee pricing strategies from concept through final proposal, coordinating with operations, BIM/VDC, procurement, and business development.

The role requires advanced knowledge of electrical systems, extensive estimating experience, and strong leadership to mentor junior staff and drive profitable bids.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of commercial, industrial, and mission critical electrical construction systems and sequencing.
• Strong ability to read and analyze complex drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience with labor forecasting, budgeting, GMPs, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and independently prepare detailed cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects.
• Analyze bid documents to define scope and identify risks.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates for pursuits.
• Coordinate subcontractor solicitations, bids, and clarifications.
• Lead bid strategy, executive reviews, and final proposals.
