Rising Edge Group is an electrical contracting company powering critical infrastructure across North America. We are seeking a Lead Estimator in the United States to oversee technical reviews with estimators, and to prepare complete electrical, structural and civil cost estimates, while leading the Regional Estimating team under the Director of Pre-Construction.

You will identify value engineering opportunities, ensure proposals include accurate schedules and cash flow analyses, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred or asset.
• Experience reading blueprints, specs, proposals to prepare time/cost/labor estimates.
• 5+ years in Electrical HV, Utility, or Renewables Industry.
• Estimating knowledge of substation and/or battery energy storage projects is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee regional estimators with technical reviews and mentorship.
• Lead Pre-Construction team in preparing proposals, schedules, cash flow analyses.
• Prepare complete cost estimates for HV transmission, generation, distribution, substations and BESS.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with execution plans.
• Identify value engineering and other cost-saving opportunities.
• Support bid negotiations and contract award processes.
