Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead strategic and technical estimating for complex electrical infrastructure projects across North America. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimating, pre-construction, or electrical infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience in high-voltage, utility, or renewable energy sectors is preferred.
• Experience in developing, reviewing, and validating estimates for complex electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage construction methods, labor productivity, materials and equipment costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating activities across the US with consistency, accuracy, and quality in all estimates and proposals.
• Prepare, review, and validate detailed cost estimates for complex electrical projects including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
• Train and develop a team of Estimators.
• Improve and manage estimating processes and templates.
• Establish estimating standards, procedures, cost methodologies, and review processes.
• Lead development and review of proposal deliverables, including schedules, cash flow analyses, and construction methodologies.
• Assess project risks and commercial exposures while identifying value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to support bid/no-bid decisions and contract awards.
• Provide technical guidance to Lead Estimators and other pre-construction personnel.
• Analyze historical costs, benchmarking data, and market trends to improve accuracy.
• Partner with project teams to align estimates with execution requirements.
• Evaluate estimating software, tools, and workflows for continuous improvement.
