Job description

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, WATA, Card Ladder, and the Long Beach Expo collectibles trade show. Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Canada, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a vital member of the Santa Ana Operations leadership team, helping to define, elevate, and scale the role of human resources across the company. As an HRBP you will have the primary responsibility of leading the development and execution of the People strategy across some of our most critical teams and functions within Operations and across several Collectors’ brands (PSA, PSA/DNA, PCGS Ops, Customer Service and Grading teams).

You will be expected to be curious, and understand customer sentiment and market trends for the businesses you support. You’ll use your judgment and rationale to explain policy and make decisions that are fair, considering when exceptions are needed to do what’s right. You should have HR subject matter expertise, with a focus on employee relations, people development, performance management, organizational design, manager development, retention, engagement, equity and inclusion, and people management across the organization. Leveraging influencing skills, this role will drive talent and headcount processes working with the Business Leaders. The ideal candidate loves to build, thrives in ambiguity, is flexible and adaptable to change, acts with a sense of urgency balanced with accuracy, and can demonstrate strong communication skills to deliver messages across all levels of the organization. This is an opportunity to join our organization in the beginning stages of solidifying our HRBPs within the People organization while getting to manage and drive high impact people strategies in the fast growing collectibles space.
