Job Description

The Sports + Entertainment Senior Human Resources Manager for the Washington D.C. district will provide vital support to the District Managers, General Managers, and Department Heads across their venues. The role ensures the team offers strong support and advice to operations and functional teams. Responsibilities include providing HR support regarding policies, recruitment, staffing, onboarding, investigating concerns, and promoting positive employee relations. This position supports food and beverage and operations managers and front-line associates in major sports and entertainment venues in Washington D.C. Compensation: The annual salary range is $90,000 to $130,000, reflecting Aramark's good faith estimate at posting time.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support recruitment, staffing, employee records, onboarding, and engagement for hourly employees.
  2. Consult with managers on policies and compliance.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external resources to complete tasks.
  4. Monitor dashboard metrics for efficiency and SLA adherence.
  5. Assist with full-cycle recruiting and develop staffing plans.
  6. Manage applicant tracking and lead positive employee relations efforts.
  7. Review compensation plans annually.
  8. Execute staffing, onboarding, and training processes.
  9. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  10. Train and coach management on HR practices.
  11. Participate in corporate projects and report HR metrics.
  12. Maintain employee records and handle employee relations issues.
  13. Manage disciplinary actions and conduct investigations.
  14. Facilitate training for hourly employees and ensure safety compliance.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in a Human Resources Generalist role.
  • Experience in multi-site HR operations preferred.
  • Operational management experience advantageous.
  • Strong team-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, HR, or related field.
  • Recruiting experience is essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
