I. JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description Summary:
Human Resource Management & Development (HRMD) is made up of several departments that serve as advocates for the GW community and consistently provide discreet, valuable and personalized service that is timely and responsive. HRMD helps GW to maintain a diverse workforce of the highest caliber and to support employees in their roles within the university.
Reporting to the Manager, People Services Center, this entry-level HR Associate position works as a part of a specialized team that executes effective and efficient employee lifecycle actions. The core responsibilities of this role are to partner with HR Managers and Directors to intake and initiate employee lifecycle and recruitment actions, to partner with other HR teams to execute clean actions and exchange feedback, and to contribute to the continual development and improvement of support resources.
Specifically, this role will:

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
