Job Description

The Sports + Entertainment Senior Human Resources Manager for the Washington D.C. district will provide vital support to the District Managers, General Managers, and Department Heads across their venues. This role ensures that the team offers strong support and advice to operations and functional teams. The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for providing HR support regarding policies, recruitment, staffing, onboarding, investigating concerns, and promoting positive employee relations. This position supports food and beverage and operations managers, as well as frontline associates in major sports and entertainment venues in the Washington D.C. Market. COMPENSATION: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Support HR functions related to hourly recruitment, staffing, records, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  2. Consult with managers on employment policies and compliance.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external resources to complete HR tasks.
  4. Review dashboard metrics daily to ensure efficiency and compliance with SLAs.
  5. Assist with full-cycle recruiting and develop staffing plans with operations.
  6. Manage applicant tracking and lead employee relations efforts.
  7. Conduct compensation reviews and execute staffing and onboarding processes.
  8. Ensure policy compliance and communicate HR updates.
  9. Train and coach management on HR practices.
  10. Participate in corporate projects and report HR metrics.
  11. Maintain employee records and resolve employee relations issues.
  12. Handle disciplinary actions and conduct employee training.
  13. Attend safety meetings and ensure proper documentation.
  14. Handle union grievance processes and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
  • Experience in multi-site HR operations preferred.
  • Operational management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong team-building and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, HR, or related fields.
  • Recruiting experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, and results-oriented.
  • Influencing skills, adaptability, and customer focus.
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to travel as needed.
