Job description

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Human Resources Associate for our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in Washington, D.C.! This is a wonderful remote, part-time, contract-to-hire opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team!


What you’ll be doing:
  1. Draft and post job advertisements on various platforms.
  2. Facilitate resume management and user access in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  3. Screen resumes and applications to identify top candidates.
  4. Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews.
  5. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback.
  6. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and offboarding process for departing employees.
  7. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve workplace culture.
  8. Support the performance review process, including setting timelines, providing training, and ensuring timely completion.
  9. Assist managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  10. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  11. Conduct open enrollment sessions and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
  12. Assist with maintaining labor law compliance and regulations.
  13. Plan and coordinate meetings, events, retreats, and other functions.

What you need to be successful:
  1. 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Full-Cycle Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
  3. Knowledge of Benefits.
  4. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  5. Knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  6. Familiarity with Employment Labor Law Compliance and Regulations.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate of $27 an hour.
