Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Human Performance Advisor to support mission-critical work on a program at CONUS locations. The advisor provides technical expertise in human performance, designs training, manages resources, and reports data to leadership.

The role requires a Master’s in a related field, 5+ years of program planning experience, and professional certifications. US citizenship is required; location includes various CONUS sites, with 2027 start contemplated.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.
• 5+ years planning and coordinating sport- or mission-specific performance programs with measurable results.
• Current certification: AT, CSCS, PT, MVP, or Performance Dietitian; maintain ongoing certifications.
• Able to meet physical demands including hiking and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Maintain BLS certification; provide proof of all training/certs.
• Fluent English and US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and synchronize technical training and program recommendations.
• Design and oversee HP services with methodical approach for peak performance.
• Inventory HP supplies and coordinate equipment for replenishment.
• Oversee training and travel of HP staff.
• Develop and provide training materials per HP leadership requests.
• Collect and report data to HP leadership and HQ.
