Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Human Performance Advisor to provide technical expertise for the HP program across locations lacking an HP Manager. You will plan and oversee technical training, policy recommendations, and HP services to optimize operator performance.

You will coordinate with HP leadership, medical staff, and command, while generating data reports and maintaining required certifications and credentials for field readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred in exercise science, health science or related field.
• 5+ years in planning and coordinating sport- or mission-specific performance programs at NCAA/Olympic/professional levels.
• Certifications: AT, CSCS, PT, MPC, or Dietitian required; maintain ongoing certification.
• Must maintain BLS certification and provide documentation.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and synchronize technical training, guidance, and programmatic recommendations for HP services.
• Design, implement, document and oversee HP services to achieve peak performance and reconditioning of operators.
• Compile and report data requested by HP leadership and HQ in the enterprise database.

Education

Master’s Degree in exercise science/health science/physical education-related discipline

5+ years experience planning and coordinating performance programs

Current professional certification (AT, CSCS, PT, MPC, or Dietitian)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)
