GovCIO is seeking a Human Centered Design & UX Analyst to support HCD across VA Connected Health tools. You will join a cross-functional team, conduct user research, create artifacts, and help ensure accessibility compliance.

This fully remote role requires potential travel within the continental United States and an ability to work under fast-paced, collaborative conditions. The position emphasizes producing validated workflows, wireframes, and usability evaluations, aligning with VA Digital

Qualifications

Foundational understanding of HCD/UX in professional settings.
Experience supporting qualitative research activities and synthesis.
Ability to produce design artifacts like journey maps and personas.
Familiarity with Mural and facilitation skills.
Working knowledge of accessibility requirements (Section 508, WCAG 2.2).

Responsabilités

Support HCD studies and assessments using interviews, focus groups, and usability testing.
Develop insights and actionable recommendations from user research.
Coordinate participant recruitment and study logistics.
Create and maintain journey maps, personas, affinity maps, and wireframes.
Contribute to field testing, pilots, and usability studies.
