Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a seasoned Manager, EHS to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across facilities in the United States. You will develop and enforce policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive training on hazardous materials handling and emergency response.

You will investigate incidents, manage workers’ compensation collaboration, and supervise waste disposal while mentoring the EHS team to uphold a strong safety culture across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations.
• Proven track record creating and maintaining safety training programs and policies.
• Excellent project management skills across multiple locations or departments.
• Experience investigating incidents using root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proactive and resourceful in identifying hazards and implementing strategies.
• Leadership to mentor and develop EHS team.
• Calm under pressure handling emergencies and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creation, implementation, and improvement of EHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; serve as primary contact with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage training on hazardous material handling, emergency response, and safety practices.
• Lead investigation of incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
• Administer workers’ compensation programs with HR and identify preventive trends.
• Supervise hazardous and radioactive waste disposal with proper documentation.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate EHS team members to sustain safety culture.
