Ramboll is seeking an experienced Senior HSE leader to direct safety governance across its EPC/EPCM project portfolio in the Americas. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, contractor alignment, and field support to deliver safe, compliant project execution.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of on-site HSE leadership in large-scale environments, with strong ability to influence stakeholders and manage multi-party interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety; Engineering degree also acceptable.
• 10+ years of progressive on-site HSE leadership in large-scale EPC/EPCM environments.
• Strong background in multi-contractor management and field execution.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations and engage with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide HSE approach across EPC/EPCM projects with scalable standards.
• Act as primary HSE advisor to project directors and leadership teams.
• Drive adoption of the HSE program and translate expectations into project-level actions.
• Provide strategic HSE guidance during proposals and contract negotiations.
• Define scalable HSE organization structures to support nationwide delivery.
• Establish standardized HSE execution plans across all project phases.
• Align HSE expectations across contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee risk management processes including hazard identification and risk reviews.
• Provide governance and assurance over high-risk activities and incident investigations.
• Promote safety culture, leadership, and continuous improvement across projects.
