Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to align, inform, and train employees on health, safety, and environment (HSE) across diverse environments including field, plants, data centers, and construction sites.

You will craft compelling HSE narratives, own the internal comms plan, and drive deskless workforce communications while producing multimedia content and leading crisis communications initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in communications with a track record of running successful comms programs end-to-end.
• Exceptional writing with audience-first approach and clear messaging.
• Experience with AI tools integrated into workflows and outputs.
• Experience in HSE, industrial, energy, construction, or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• HSE Narrative Development: sharpen messaging for diverse employee audiences.
• HSE Internal Comms Plan: own annual plan with quarterly reviews in partnership with HSE leaders.
• Reaching a Deskless Workforce: build channels for non-desk employees (signage, SMS, huddles, print, mobile content).
• Video and Multimedia: produce video content that captures attention and conveys safety information.
• Incident and Crisis Comms: lead playbook creation and crisis communications when incidents occur.
• Training and Enablement: shape safety training communications and onboarding materials.
• Leader Enablement: provide managers with talking points and cascade materials.
• Thought Leadership: develop blogs, op-eds, speaking content, and social posts.
• Competitive Intelligence: monitor HSE comms strategies for insights.
