Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our Internal Comms team and help align, inform, and train employees on health, safety, and environment (HSE). You’ll turn complex HSE topics into clear messages and design media that speaks to diverse work settings.

You’ll also reach deskless workers through signage, SMS, and on-site communications while leading crisis and incident communications when needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in communications with end-to-end programs.
• Exceptional writing with audience-focused messaging.
• AI-first mindset integrated into workflows.
• Experience in industrial, energy, construction, or manufacturing settings.
• Proven crisis communications planning and execution.
• Hands-on multimedia production or ability to brief partners.
• Ability to reach frontline workers and non-desk employees.
• Strong initiative and comfort with ambiguity.
• Collaborates across HSE, Comms, Marketing and Legal.
• Metrics-driven with results enabled by data.

Responsibilities

• HSE Narrative Development and translating topics into compelling stories.
• Own annual internal comms plan and quarterly updates with HSE leaders.
• Reach deskless workers via signage, SMS, huddles, print and mobile content.
• Produce videos and multimedia to engage audiences.
• Lead incident and crisis communications with cross-functional teams.
• Shape training content and toolbox talks for consistent messaging.
• Equip managers with talking points and cascade materials.
• Develop blogs, op-eds, speaking content to establish leadership.
• Monitor competitive HSE comms and build brand assets when needed.
• Run listening tools and measure outcomes.
