Crusoe is seeking a Sr. Manager, Communications to lead storytelling for the teams that site, power, and build Crusoe's AI factories at scale. You will partner with Public Affairs, Government Affairs, and DIG to translate complex site development topics into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

You will drive a strategic news program, manage journalist relationships, and lead thought leadership initiatives while protecting the Crusoe brand in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in communications or public relations.
• AI-first mindset with daily use of AI tools.
• Domain experience in data center construction/development, energy, real estate, or AI industries.
• Media relations expertise with journalists and influencers.
• Exceptional writing with nuance and clarity.
• High-agency, proactive and collaborative working style.
• Results-oriented with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• News Engine: drive a strategic program showing momentum across Crusoe's development.
• Media and Influencer Relations: build relationships and place stories independently.
• Community & Stakeholder Engagement: support local engagement where Crusoe builds.
• Narrative Development: sharpen messaging across DIG, Energy, Real Estate.
• Thought Leadership: develop op-eds, keynote scripts and social content.
• Issues Management: monitor landscape and coordinate timely responses.
• Agency Management: manage PR agencies and prioritize outcomes.
• Measurement: own reporting of coverage, share of voice, and outcomes.
