Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to support heavy civil and mining projects on-site. The role includes coverage for the HS&E Manager, mentoring junior staff, and leading safety initiatives across the project lifecycle.

The position requires strong knowledge of MHSA/OSHA and a CSP or OH&S degree, with proven ability to communicate effectively with hourly workers and management teams. Travel to multiple project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil, mining, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of MHSA and OSHA regulations.
• CSP or OH&S degree or equivalent through on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for the HS&E Manager and lead smaller teams on projects.
• Mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes and effectiveness.
• Support site leadership with safety meetings, toolbox talks, and project onboarding.
