Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to mentor the region’s HS&E professionals and ensure effective application of the HS&E program in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.

Reporting to the Director of HS&E, you will lead the HS&E management team, align objectives with operations, and drive a culture of safety through audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial Health and Safety in a management/ leadership role.
• 5+ years in industrial construction, telecom or related industry with HS&E experience.
• Strong computer, MS Office, and presentations skillset.
• Degree/Diploma in OH&S or related discipline is an asset.
• Pursuit of NCSO, CRSP or related HS&E designation.
• Ability to lead and mentor HS&E professionals and collaborate with operations.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and coaches HS&E employees on their job performance and development.
• Builds an environment that fosters cooperation among HS&E and other teams.
• Participates in recruitment, selection, and evaluation of HS&E personnel.
• Works with management to implement HS&E programs and align with operations.
• Analyzes metrics to drive continuous improvement and audits/site visits.
