Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead health, safety and environment practices at assigned work sites across mining and related projects. You will provide expert advice to operations teams and clients while guiding HS&E personnel and traveling to different sites as required.

You will apply MSHA regulations, conduct hazard assessments, lead incident investigations, and support return-to-work processes while promoting continuous improvement and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical mining HS&E experience.
• MSHA 30 CFR MSHA instructor card (Blue Card) and OH&S education are assets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders across project hierarchy.
• Must pass pre-access requirements including clean driver’s abstract and drug screen and breathalyzer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and audits; report findings and verify corrective actions.
• Provide on-site guidance to operations management on HS&E programs and incident response.
• Coordinate inspections, focus audits and incident investigations.
• Verify compliance with leading and lagging indicators including subcontractors and corrective actions.
• Lead complex incident investigations and identify root causes; train operations teams on investigation processes.
• Support supervisors in managing injuries/illnesses and return-to-work processes.
