Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced HS&E Advisor to travel across United States sites and apply professional HS&E practices. You will lead hazard assessments, audits, and on-site guidance to operations teams, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and safety systems.

Strong communication skills and a background in construction HS&E are essential. The role is site-based with travel, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-access requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical experience in construction, heavy civil, or telecom as an HS&E professional.
• OSHA 10 and 30-hour instructor credentials are assets.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) and safety management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: develop hazard assessments, identify unsafe conditions, and perform audits of HS&E plan requirements.
• HS&E Process Guidance: provide on-site guidance to operations management on implementing HS&E programs.
• Data Collection and Reporting: assess effectiveness of corrective actions and analyze safety data.
• Incident Management: lead complex incident investigations and train operations teams.
• Occupational Injury/Illness Management: support supervisors in return-to-work and preventive safety measures.
