Job summary

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in human subjects research, CIP certification is a plus, and experience with electronic IRB systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research.
• Experience in an academic or clinical research setting.
• CIP certification or willingness/ability to obtain within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement HRPP/IRB policies for Brown University and affiliated sites.
• Support IRB Committee meetings, agendas, and minutes; advise on regulations and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, and institutional requirements and SOPs.
• Manage protocol reviews and confidential documents with discretion.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure compliance across studies.
