Job summary

Brown University seeks a Senior HRPP Administrator to oversee administration of the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and IRB policies for research involving human subjects at Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional requirements and support IRB meetings and related activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in related work, knowledge of FDA regulations, and experience in academic or clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of laws, regulations, and policies for human subjects research incl. FDA.
• Experience in academic or clinical research settings.
• CIP certification within two years preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical trials registration and results reporting desirable.
• Proficient with confidential documents and high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

• Administer HRPP and IRB policies for human subjects research.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and advise on applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.
• Support IRB committees and collaborate with faculty and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of SOPs and regulatory updates.
