Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to oversee the Human Research Protection Program and IRB policies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional standards and supports non-committee reviews and IRB meetings.

The successful candidate will manage meeting materials, advise on applicable regulations, and continuously apply current laws and SOPs to protocol reviews while collaborating with faculty,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience working in an academic or clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Support IRB Committee meetings: prepare agendas and materials, take minutes, advise on regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and AAHRPP accreditation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of current regulations and institutional SOPs to guide submissions and reviews.
