Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience working in an academic or clinical research setting.
• CIP certification or willingness/ability to obtain CIP certification within two years of hire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IRB Committee meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and materials.
• Take minutes and advise IRB members on applicable regulations, policies, and review criteria.
• Conduct non-committee reviews and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state regulations and institutional policies.
