Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to lead administration and implementation of the HRPP and IRB policies for studies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.

The role requires preparing IRB meeting materials, minutes, and guidance on applicable regulations. You will stay current on federal/state laws and institutional policies to ensure compliant review processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience working in an academic or clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Administrate and implement the HRPP and IRB policies and procedures related to human subjects research.
• Conduct non-committee reviews and collaborate with faculty, staff and students.
• Support IRB meetings by preparing agendas and materials, taking minutes, and advising on regulations.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal and state regulations, policies, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.
