Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to oversee the HRPP and IRB processes across Brown, Lifespan, and Care New England. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws, AAHRPP standards and institutional SOPs, and support IRB meetings with agendas, minutes, and expert guidance.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in research settings, knowledge of FDA regulations, and the ability to work independently in a remote, full-time role with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience working in an academic or clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and implementation of the HRPP and IRB policies.
• Support IRB Committee meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and advise on regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal/state regulations and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff and students to ensure compliant research practices.
