Job summary

Alliant Private Client seeks an experienced Employee Relations professional to lead the workplace accommodations program, partnering with employees, HR Business Partners, Legal, and business leaders to deliver compliant, employee-centric solutions.

You will drive scalable programs and resources that support an inclusive workplace while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws across the United States.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Employee Relations experience with significant responsibility for workplace accommodations.
• Experience with ADA accommodations across a multi-state or multi-location organization.
• Experience with accommodation or leave-management platforms.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and candidates regarding accommodation requests.
• Lead interactive discussions by conducting thorough intake interviews covering job limitations and essential functions.
• Manage a high volume of confidential accommodation cases from intake through implementation and follow-up.
• Evaluate accommodation requests in accordance with ADA requirements and company policies.
• Obtain, review, and manage supporting medical documentation when necessary.
• Identify potential reasonable accommodations and assess their feasibility and impact on operations.
• Coordinate accommodation-related leave requests with the LOA administrator.
• Draft and send written correspondence on accommodation decisions and changes.
• Maintain confidential records of all accommodation data and follow-up actions.
• Track cases, deadlines, and follow-up actions; provide guidance to managers and HRBPs.
