Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders and employees across multiple locations, with a focus on California. You will guide workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management, and lead investigations to resolve complex issues.

Collaborating with operational leaders, you will ensure compliance with federal and state laws, support onboarding and offboarding, and drive HR projects using workforce analytics to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum 5 years in an HR Business Partner role.
• Strong expertise in California employment law.
• Deep employee relations experience, including investigations.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence leaders.
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for leaders and employees across multiple locations.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Lead complex employee relations investigations and conflict-resolution initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with California labor regulations and other employment laws.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, leaves of absence, compensation, performance management, and offboarding.
• Drive HR projects and leverage analytics to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting, retention, succession planning, and talent strategies.
