Job summary

XLR8 EMS is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions across multiple sites in California, ensuring compliant, efficient operations and a positive work environment. You will drive talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, training, benefits and HRIS optimization, partnering with senior leadership to align HR with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years HR experience with at least 4 years in an HR management role.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required.
• Solid understanding of California employment law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development.
• Drive organizational effectiveness and change management, partnering with senior leadership on HR strategies for organizational growth.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs.
• Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to senior management, analyzing data for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and manage the annual human capital budget, including headcount planning, compensation forecasts, and strategic workforce investments.
• Lead the development and implementation of performance management processes to drive employee performance and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify talent gaps and forecast staffing needs.
• Direct and oversee full-cycle recruitment, ensuring alignment with workforce planning.
• Develop and implement comprehensive employee training and development programs.
• Oversee benefits program development, implementation, and administration, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Develop, interpret, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
