Tatte Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the Boston region's HR strategy, guiding employee relations, compliance, and culture across all cafés. This role partners with operators and leaders to translate people data into action and drive engagement.

You will manage complex ER cases, ensure labor law compliance, and develop a regional People Plan with clear ownership, metrics, and accountability to support market growth.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a Senior HRBP or ER-focused leadership role.
• Deep expertise in federal, Massachusetts, and Boston employment requirements and hospitality compliance.
• Proven track record of managing complex ER investigations in multi-unit hospitality or retail environments.
• Experience opening and supporting new cafés or restaurants in the Boston market with full HR accountability.
• Strong coaching, communication, and influence skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnership across the Boston region and align people strategies with business priorities.
• Lead employee relations case management across the Boston region and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with wage, hour, leave, anti-discrimination, and safety requirements.
• Develop and execute a regional People Plan with field partnership and analytics.
• Coach cafe leaders on values-based leadership and performance conversations.
• Lead HR readiness for new café openings in the Boston area.
