Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Horizontal HR Business Partner to support the Global Payments HRBP team. The role drives core HR processes, data reporting, and program logistics while maintaining a feedback loop with clients for continuous improvement.

You will lead diverse meetings, design annual talent and performance calendars, and develop training materials for managers and associates, enabling effective people strategies across client groups in an HR delivery context.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in human resources.
• At least 1 year of client facing experience or consulting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in project or process management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on talent data for HR Business Partners and their client groups.
• Manage process communications and templates for local core HR process communications.
• Support client-facing HR BPs with inquiries (remote work arrangements, compensation, promotions, large-scale org changes).
• Lead weekly Horizontal Delivery meetings and monthly partner meetings.
• Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions to design and execute the annual talent calendar.
• Develop walk-around decks, communications and training materials for managers and associates.
• Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders describing outcomes of talent conversations.
• Review survey data and develop insights and summaries with HR BPs.
• Manage project work-streams and small-scale projects supporting team goals.
• Design and maintain HR calendar of activities and deliverables for clients and HR BPs.
• Provide feedback to drive continuous program improvement.
• Ensure alignment with other HRBP teams and Horizontal Delivery teammates.
• Lead HRBPs through Discover integration onto Capital One systems and processes.
