The State of North Carolina’s Department of Adult Correction is seeking an Agency HR Supervisor (NS) to lead the Time Administration Team. You will oversee timekeeping, leave, and special pay processes for about 14,000 employees, ensuring compliance with FLSA, state policies, and HRIS configurations.

You’ll mentor a team of HR Consultants and Technicians and act as the SME for payroll integrity. This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and strong supervisory abilities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with 3 years of experience
• Associate’s degree in HR or a related field with 5+ years of experience
• High school/GED with 6+ years of progressive HR experience

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the strategic direction for the Time Administration Section.
• Define objectives, oversee implementation, and track performance metrics.
• Serve as SME on FLSA profiles, overtime regulations, and work schedule rules.
• Provide supervision and professional development for HR Consultants and HR Technicians.
• Coordinate with OSHR, OSC, and BEST Shared Services on complex time administration issues.
• Audit time and payroll data; resolve high-level discrepancies.
• Identify system enhancements and test new HRIS features.
