Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid-level HR Technician to support a Federal Government client at HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL. Position contingent upon contract award and TS/SCI clearance as needed.

The role covers full HR services including benefits guidance, records management, onboarding, and regulatory compliance with civilian and military policies. Requires strong communication and coordination with senior military officials.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience supporting USSOCOM or similar senior commands (O-6+) within last 12 years.
• Ability to present complex reports to senior military officials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive HR services including benefits guidance, leave policy administration, onboarding, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with civilian and military regulations.
• Manage personnel records, regulatory compliance, and unit awards/ceremonies.
• Prepare briefings for command leadership and draft official correspondence for signatures.
• Process all personnel actions: promotions, transfers, leaves, separations, reassignments; coordinate with SOCOM J1 on actions and awards.
• Oversee performance evaluation system, tracking suspense dates and timely submissions.
• Maintain readiness/strength reports and casualty reporting procedures.
