Job summary

Seattle City Light is seeking a seasoned People and Culture Senior Systems Administrator Analyst to lead HR system projects, design solutions, and manage enterprise data integrity. Reporting to the People and Culture Systems and Analytics Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive improvements in reporting and analytics.

The role requires three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a business or public administration field.

Qualifications

• Requires three years of experience in systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or related field.
• Experience with HRIS databases desirable.
• Ability to automate processes using Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Project lead over HR systems, development and implementation projects involving considerable scope, complexity and long term commitments.
• Lead system user groups in the design, development, implementation, and modification of systems.
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of management controls, channels of communication, operating procedures, organization and flow of work.
• Devise efficient methods of accomplishing work and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with utility team members to ensure data and functional integrity across projects. Will personally interact with departmental personnel, consultants, other City departmental personnel and management to explain technical recommendations.
• Identify, recommend, and implement solutions for reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to support leadership/management business decisions.
• Serve as main system administrator to People and Culture business unit systems and provide troubleshooting assistance to internal customers including, but not limited to, being the point of contact with Seattle IT/vendor.
• Document and train users on system usage and best practice on system operations.
• Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.
