Job summary

Seattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is seeking a Senior Management Systems Analyst to support customer‑facing technologies within the Customer Technologies group. This role is part of the CIS Operations Team and will work across interfaces including Oracle CCB, MSCS, and the USW Customer Portal.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years in systems analysis, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and experience with utility business processes.

Qualifications

• Requires three years of experience in systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform system design, analysis and continued development of technology projects of considerable scope and complexity.
• Identify, document and communicate business needs to Business Owners and Management.
• Develop work plans and goals for technology projects based on objectives and priorities.
• Lead end user groups in design, development, implementation and modification of systems.
• Create procedures and train end users on new system functionality and enhancements.
• Assess policy changes to determine impacts on business processes and configuration.
• Participate in solution analysis and design for project scope and requirements.
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes, policies, or procedures.
• Configure, test and implement business system solutions.
• Provide support to impacted workgroups to resolve issues and answer questions.
