Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Chicago seeks a strategic HR leader to act as trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping people strategy and aligning workforce plans with business goals.

You will drive talent strategy, succession planning, performance alignment and governance across lines of business, lead risk-aware change initiatives, and partner on inclusion and employee experience to win with talent.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Appropriate HR designation (i.e. CHRP, ADR) preferred.
• Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Line of Business senior leadership to advance people strategy.
• Develop and support strategic workforce plans with execution roadmaps.
• Assess talent gaps and design business-aligned talent strategies to close them.
• Lead leadership and succession planning for business supported.
• Provide ongoing coaching and advice on complex people issues with risk governance in mind.
• Oversee governance, risk mitigation, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
