Job summary

Onin Staffing, LLC in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join the People & Culture team full-time onsite at our Home Office. You will partner with business leaders to align talent management, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning with our strategic goals.

The role requires 5+ years of HR experience, strong advisory skills, and the ability to coach leaders through investigations, change, and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, including HRBP or senior generalist roles.
• Proven ability to partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Strong coaching, influence, and credibility across the organization.
• Experience with talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance strategic and day-to-day HR in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and onsite in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to leaders on workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Advise leaders on complex employee relations matters and employment decisions.
• Conduct objective workplace investigations and recommend fair actions.
• Coach leaders to improve performance and build effective teams.
• Partner on talent development, succession planning, and leadership initiatives.
• Support organizational changes, team structures, and change management.
• Interpret HR policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with HR functions to align people strategies with business goals.
• Analyze HR trends to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Lead People & Culture initiatives to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
