Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior People Operations leader to partner with program leaders and AI Practice Leads, advising on performance, workplace concerns, and team needs across the United States.

You will own onboarding for cohorts from offer to background checks and payroll setup, coordinate multi-state HR processes, and drive scalable, compliant workflows while protecting confidential information. Remote work across the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including advising managers on performance and sensitive employee matters.
• Experience managing high-volume onboarding across multiple U.S. states.
• Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, leave, and onboarding workflows.
• Experience with PEOs is a strong advantage.
• Ability to build scalable HR processes in a growing org.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on performance, conduct, and sensitive employee matters.
• Oversee high-volume onboarding and align with HR partnerships.
• Coordinate leave, accommodations, and work authorizations.
• Develop scalable onboarding checklists and processes.
• Partner with Finance and external providers to resolve timekeeping and payroll issues.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure policy compliance.
• Support multi-state HR compliance and cross-functional stakeholders.
