Job summary

University of Alabama at Birmingham's Human Resources Shared Services seeks a Human Resources Partner Generalist Lead to provide strategic HR advisement for Clinical Departments within the HRSS model. You will act as the primary contact on employment, compensation, employee relations, international recruitment and retention, organizational planning, training, onboarding, and policy compliance.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Eight years of related HR experience; education cannot be substituted.
• Experience handling employment, compensation, employee relations, onboarding, and HR policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR advisement to Clinical Departments within HR Shared Services.
• Serve as primary contact for HR issues across employment, compensation, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with HRSS and department leadership to advance organizational planning and training initiatives.
• Supervise or mentor junior HR staff and ensure cross-coverage across supported departments.
