Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HR Partner to deliver full-cycle HR support for our Fulfillment Center and Hub locations in the United States. You will partner with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, engagement, and compliance while reporting to the Manager, People Experience.

You will resolve employee issues, conduct investigations, manage onboarding, and lead retention initiatives. This role requires HR expertise in a fast-paced fulfillment environment and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required.
• SHRM or SPHR Certification is required or preferred.
• Solid understanding of labor related laws and statutes.
• Experience in fulfillment centers, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees to resolve issues and conduct investigations with People Team Leadership, HRBPs, and Legal as needed.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring compliance through audits.
• Train, coach, and counsel managers on people matters.
• Engage with staffing agencies on-site for proper staffing.
• Lead recruitment events and conduct new employee interviews for hourly roles.
• Oversee onboarding and ensure proper paperwork and approvals are completed.
• Conduct new hire check-ins and participate in culture initiatives and ERGs.
• Collaborate with site leadership on retention and offboarding processes.
• Monitor attendance and manage disciplinary actions and PIP processes.
