Job summary

ShipBob is seeking a Sr. People Generalist to provide full-cycle HR support for the North Aurora Fulfillment Center and Hub locations. You will partner with site leadership to execute HR initiatives, manage investigations, onboarding, retention, and compliance, while upholding ShipBob's culture and values.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR, 5+ years of HR experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and SHRM/SPHR certification. Travel to site locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• SHRM or SPHR certification.
• Solid understanding of labor laws and statutes.
• Experience in fulfillment centers, warehouses, or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret data and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees to resolve issues and conduct investigations with People Team leadership and Legal as needed.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance through audits.
• Train, coach, and counsel managers on people matters.
• Coordinate staffing with on-site 3rd-party staffing reps.
• Participate in recruiting events and onsite/offsite career fairs.
• Coordinate interviews for hourly roles and manage onboarding processes.
• Lead new hire onboarding and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Conduct new hire check-ins and support employee retention efforts.
• Present at site town halls and monthly meetings; monitor key people metrics.
• Support ERGs and ShipBob Culture initiatives.
