Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Sr. People Generalist to provide full cycle HR support at the assigned Innovation Center and Hub. You will guide organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, and compliance within your location.

You will resolve employee issues, conduct investigations with the People Team, HRBPs, and Legal as needed, and maintain HR records with audits. This role reports to the Manager, People Experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related degree and a minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Solid understanding of Labor related laws and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees to resolve issues and conduct investigations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource records and documentation; perform audits for compliance.
• Train, coach, and counsel managers on people matters.
• Partner with on-site staffing to ensure proper staffing.
• Participate in recruiting events and career fairs onsite and offsite.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure paperwork is completed correctly.
• Conduct new hire check-ins with associates.
• Present at site monthly town halls and start-up meetings.
• Monitor key people metrics with site leadership; report monthly.
