Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a Senior Director, HR Operations, Shared Services & HR Technology to lead payroll, HR tech, and employee services across the organization. This hybrid, full-time role partners with executive leadership to modernize people processes using analytics, automation, and AI.

You will oversee multi-state payroll, HCM systems, data governance, and SLAs, building a scalable, employee-centric HR operation that supports growth across campuses and partner institutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in payroll, HR operations, shared services, HRIS, or people operations.
• 7+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proven experience leading HCM selection, implementation, and transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-state payroll operations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience implementing or leveraging AI-enabled solutions within HR or people operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll operations and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for multi-state payroll operations and ensure accurate processing.
• Oversee HR technology, HCM systems, and data governance; drive analytics and dashboards.
• Design and lead a best-in-class HR Shared Services model with SLAs and KPIs.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled HR solutions to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Lead complex projects across payroll, HR tech, and process redesign; manage budgets and timelines.
• Develop a high-performing, diverse team and drive change management across campuses.
